Marketing and Development Manager | 2023 – Present
As Marketing and Development Manager at Access Care Partners, I oversee the organization’s comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy, guiding both digital and print initiatives to build brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and expand community outreach. I design and develop marketing materials that span a wide range of formats, including website creation and optimization, social media campaigns, email marketing, video production, and traditional print collateral such as flyers and brochures.
My work extends beyond marketing into fundraising and development, where I lead grant writing efforts, secure sponsorships, and plan events that generate essential support for the organization’s mission. I also provide training and guidance to staff, ensuring consistent and effective brand usage throughout all communication channels.
During my tenure, I have achieved significant milestones, including increasing social media engagement by over 1,200% in my first two months, personally designing and launching a new website that improved the agency’s SEO score by 40%, and successfully activating the Google Ad Grant to secure $10,000 per month in free digital advertising. One of my proudest accomplishments was leading the organization through a complete rebrand and renaming process, creating a cohesive and modern identity that reflects our mission and values.
Communications Manager | 2013 – 2023
For a decade, I served as Communications Manager for the Massachusetts Association of Councils on Aging, supporting over 350 member Councils across the state. In this role, I managed all aspects of communications, including website development and maintenance, SEO, social media strategy, email marketing, publications, and member networking platforms.
I was responsible for overseeing the agency’s technology systems, working closely with IT providers, introducing new tools, and training staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. By developing and implementing a new social media strategy, I increased engagement by more than 800%, dramatically enhancing the organization’s online presence.
In addition to my communications and technology work, I organized and executed the association’s annual three-day conference. This included scheduling more than 80 workshops, coordinating with presenters, managing attendee registration, and designing an 80-page conference guidebook. The event became a cornerstone of the organization’s outreach and professional development efforts.
Internet Marketing Manager | 2002 – 2010
At Hasbro, I served as Internet Marketing Manager for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Monopoly, RISK, Cranium, and Trivial Pursuit. I developed and executed digital marketing strategies that spanned websites, social networks, online games, affiliate marketing, and emerging digital platforms.
I managed multi-million-dollar budgets across numerous agencies, ensuring that marketing investments delivered maximum return. Through detailed analytics and optimization, I continually refined campaign strategies to improve engagement and overall effectiveness. My role required both creative vision and data-driven decision-making, blending innovative brand storytelling with measurable results.
By facilitating cross-brand content planning and ensuring timely updates, I helped keep Hasbro’s digital presence dynamic and relevant, strengthening the connection between these beloved brands and their audiences worldwide.
I completed graduate coursework in Communications Management at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Journalism with a concentration in Marketing Communications from Washington University, also in St. Louis, where I graduated with Alpha Lambda Sigma honors. Additionally, I studied Liberal Studies with a concentration in Creative Writing through the Honors Program at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
